We specialize in sports physical therapy, injury rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, and performance optimization. Whether you’re an athlete, an active adult, or recovering from surgery, we provide custom, evidence-based care.

2. Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?

In most cases, no referral is needed to begin physical therapy in Ohio. SCOR accepts direct access patients, meaning you can book an evaluation with a Doctor of Physical Therapy without a physician’s referral. However, some insurance providers may require one.

3. What makes SCOR different from other physical therapy clinics?

4. What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, including:

  • Sports injuries (ACL tears, rotator cuff injuries, sprains & strains)

  • Mobility and flexibility limitations

  • Tendonitis and overuse injuries

5. How long is each session?

Each physical therapy session lasts approximately 60 minutes and is focused on personalized, hands-on treatment and guided therapeutic exercises.

6. What should I expect during my first visit?

During your initial evaluation, your physical therapist will:

  • Review your medical history

  • Perform a full movement and strength assessment

  • Discuss your goals and pain points

  • Create a personalized treatment plan

You’ll also begin your first round of treatment during this visit.

7. How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on your specific condition and goals. At SCOR, we aim for efficient recovery with fewer weekly visits while still achieving strong, sustainable results.
